SC Innovates

WordPress Website

SC Innovates, the SmartState Center for Innovation + Commercialization, is located within the University of South Carolina (UofSC) Darla Moore School Business (DMSB). SC Innovates was created to connect the more than 50 SmartState Centers at UofSC, Clemson University, and the Medical University of South Carolina with companies, organizations, and individuals interested in tapping into the expertise of the nearly 75 SmartState Endowed Chairs and their research labs. Lux Writes hired me to design and build this custom WordPress website for them in 2019. There were many design challenges to solve, with a lot of custom fields and page templates built into the theme. Everyone is thrilled with the results!

Patrick Iverson is the best! I’ve been working with Patrick for many years. He has built all of our websites, and does most of our design for print advertising, digital marketing, etc. He is thoughtful, thorough, and very easy to work with. He’s the best web developer whom I’ve worked with on a variety of sites from e-commerce to complicated multi sites. Patrick has always found solutions that are exactly what we need!
