Campbell Insurance is an employee-owned insurance and risk management firm headquartered in Lynchburg, Virginia, serving clients in employee benefits and commercial insurance. I was brought in by Lux Writes to design and develop a major WordPress website refresh that modernized the company’s digital presence and supported a significant amount of new content.
A central challenge of the project was building a site that could manage multiple content types efficiently, including staff profiles, team information, blog content, and a visually engaging homepage. The website also needed to be easy for the client to maintain internally, which made thoughtful use of the WordPress block editor and scalable page-building patterns especially important.
The final site delivers a more modern responsive experience with strong mobile performance, accessibility-minded design decisions, and a content structure built for ongoing growth. It is a good example of how a strategic WordPress rebuild can help established professional service firms communicate more clearly and manage content more efficiently.
